We live in exciting times as our understanding of the universe continues to astound us; from new solar systems, to black holes and time travel, to the edge of the observable universe and beyond. In this lively and well-illustrated talk, Dr. Mike inglis, Professor of Astronomy and Astrophysics at SCCC will take you on a guided tour of the latest discoveries starting in our home galaxy - the Milky Way, and continuing on to the cosmic horizon.
