Lecture "Objects for Observing in Sagittarius" Sponsored by Astronomical Society of Long Island (ASLI) at the Vanderbilt Planetarium in Centerport, Long Island, New York.
Saggitarius, whose asterism is the famous "teapot," lies at the southern end of the Milky Way as seen from our latitude. In this illustrated lecture, we will see how Sagittarius is one of the most spectacular places to look for some of the best astronomical objects in the heavens. Presenter: Jillian Dragutsky, avid amateur astronomer and ASLI member.
