Free Irish Language Classes - Gerry Tobin Irish Language School at the Ancient Order of Hibernians in Babylon, Long Island, New York.
For 25 years the volunteers at the Gerry Tobin Irish Language School have been providing free classes to all interested in Irish language, with students attending from Nassau, Suffolk and Queens counties, as well as Brooklyn and Manhattan.
February 6, 2013 marks the start of a new semester of free Irish language classes every Wednesday evening at the Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH)Hll in Babylon, NY.
Our class for students new to Irish Gaelic is 8:00PM-9:00PM Mommy Daddy and Me, our immersion class for young children and their parents meets weekly on Wednesdays at 7:15PM-8:00PM. Free classes for advanced students are also available. All are welcome, including native speakers and those interested in teaching.
