Chef's Secrets is not just an event; it's an experience to remember. Each year the Long Island Network of Community Services, Inc. (LINCS) hosts this outstanding charity event, attended by hundreds of guests at the de Seversky Mansion in Old Westbury. Proceeds raised help fund programs for the Long Island Association for AIDS Care, Inc. (LIAAC) and BiasHELP, Inc., by either helping to ease the lives of those infected or affected by HIV/AIDS or by bringing awareness to the ever-growing problem of bullying, technobullying and hate crimes throughout Long Island.
Chef’s Secrets is a wine and food tasting event boasting some of the most sensational culinary dishes and beverages anyone could ever encounter. Tasting stations and beverage tables are set up throughout the mansion where guests can alternate through the many rooms where colorful and aromatic dishes are prepared right in front of your eyes, by some of the most renowned chefs on Long Island. The fun continues on…as guests continue through the night going back for seconds and thirds of their favorite dishes and beverages, the scene is set to pique the interest of the risk taker in all of us. A silent auction boasting champagne taste items in carefully wrapped baskets for a steal starting price brings out the dreamers and deal seekers. The competition gets fierce as guests silently battle out the bidding on the many luxury items offered.
