7 In Heaven Long Island Singles 2015 Easter Walk at Planting Fields Arboretum State Historic Park in Oyster Bay, Nassau County, Long Island, New York.
Meet at 12:00PM at visitor's center east parking lot for approximately a 2-3 mile nature walk through several paths at the Planting Fields Arboretum, and walk thru 2 active greenhouses on property. After our walk, we relax in the cafe.
About this place Planting Fields has 409 acres as well as its historic buildings and landscape. Rolling lawns, formal gardens, hiking trails and specimen plantings, as well as 2 Greenhouses to visit Main Greenhouse and Camellia. It is the former estate of insurance magnate William Robertson Coe Standard Oil heiress Mai Rogers Coe.
Optional after walk we can visit the Garden Cafe at the Visitor Center located in the Hay Barn to purchase lunch.
