Chinese New Year Celebration - Celebrating The Best of The Human Spirit (Year of the Dragon - Lunar Year 4710) presented by the Ward Melville Heritage Organization Educational and Cultural Center. Drumming, dancers and a nine-foot lion make this Chinese New Year celebration an event to remember. Performances include Ten Tigers Kung Fu Academy performs the Lion Dance; Stony Brook Taiko Drum Ensemble; Spotlight Dance Academy. Advance reservations required. Admission: $10 adults; $8.00 seniors; $8.00 children under 12 - includes year of the dragon craft activity immediately following performance. Sponsored by Astoria Federal Savings. |
