Salt Marsh Explorers Children's Summer Program Ages 5-8 at Ernst Marine Conservation Center at West Meadow Creek on Long Island, New York.
Ward Melville Heritage Organization offers a summer program for children to become a junior naturalist at a salt marsh habitat. Set at the Ernst Marine Conservation Center, the Salt Marsh Explorer program allows students to discover the area's habitat, meeting fiddler crabs, fish, and marsh birds. Students will collect varieties of marsh plants and animals and investigate adaptations using touch tanks and microscopes. |
