Fairy Petal Portraits Children's Art Workshop at Old Westbury Gardens in Old Westbury, Long Island, New York.
Fairies are Old Westbury Gardens masters of disguise, hiding amongst the petals of our flower beds. Little artists join a guided walk to search the Gardens for different fairy habitats and later bring their visions to life by creating tiny framed portraiture from dried flower petals. All registered children complete their craft with a take home flower press to recreate the magic. For ages 6-10. Registration required. Class size is limited so register early. |
