Our Summer Adventure Days add interactive excitement to summer vacation. Separate programs provide age-appropriate learning and activities for children ages 2-14.
Wind and Wings (Ages 6-8)
Take off on an adventure at Long Island Aquarium & Exhibition Center's first exhibit, Butterflies & Birds. Your child will discover the Peconic Estuary aboard the Atlantis Explorer, with a special emphasis on aerial inhabitants like osprey. Take a birdwalk on our boardwalk to see some other seasonal and permanent inhabitants. Finally, learn about how Long Island’s weather effects the environment, and how our inhabitants survive the cold winters and hot summers. Craft and snack each day. |
