Description: |
LI Cruizin is a 501(c)3 Not For Profit who raises money with an annual collectibles car show. We provide free PSA testing at the event for the early detection of Prostate Cancer. Money raised pays for this testing, for public awareness and for basic cancer research done at Cold Spring Harbor Lab here on Long Island. We have shopping, food, entertainment (including a doo wop concert), a kids fun zone and lots of old cars.
The event is always held on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at the Sears Auto Center on Broadway in Hicksville, across from the Broadway Mall. We are in need of day of event volunteers for a variety of tasks. We have three shifts on event day 6:00AM to 4:00PM, 6:00AM to 11:00AM and 10:00AM to 4:00PM. We provide breakfast and lunch to all volunteers.
We also have need for volunteers during the balance of he year to assist with various tasks as they relate to actually putting on the event. Please contact us at 888-LICRUIZ (542-7849) and leave a voice mail with your name, phone number and best time to call.
