Description: |
EPIC Long Island (formerly, Epilepsy Foundation of Long Island) will host its 26th Annual Golf and Tennis Tournament on August 5, 2013 at the elegant Piping Rock Club in Locust Valley. Sponsored by HUB International Northeast Limited, this fun day of sport.
The day will begin with registration and brunch at 10:00AM. At 11:00AM, tennis buffs will get to play on Piping Rock's Har-Tru courts. They will participate in clinics, round robin group lessons and games with a USTA tennis pro. Tennis packages are still available.
Golf festivities commence at 12:00PM with a Shot Gun Start, featuring a hole-in-one car courtesy of Van Buren Buick GMC and Van Buren Truck Sales. Attendees will enjoy the skills of renowned golf entertainer Roger Caldwell and have the opportunity to participate in a number of contests, such as Longest Drive (M&L), Closest to Pin, Straightest Drive, Wager Game and Hole-In-One. Sponsorship packages are still available.
The fun-filled day will culminate with cocktails overlooking the breathtaking greens of the Piping Rock Club. The program will include an awards ceremony, live auction, raffles, silent auction and special guest, ABC News Anchor, Kristin Thorne. This year’s honoree is Emblem Health, an integral member of the EPIC community.
