Have Fun - Get Dirty - Help Beat Cancer
Join us for a fun, Hawaiian themed run with obstacles. And after the race, there’s a luau with a beer garden and entertainment! Compete for speed, compete for the best costume.
Have a blast while helping to save lives. This year's event takes place on Sunday April 21st, 2013 at the NYIT de Serversky Mansion, Old Wesbury. Bring your flip flops, beach chairs, and beach towels to enjoy the festivities.
Get out your running sneakers and coconut bras. The Pineapple Classic is a fundraising event for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The event is a fun Hawaiian themed 5k run with obstacles dispersed throughout the course. The obstacles are a surprise until race day.
Who can participate?
Anyone 8 years of age or older can participate. Register individually, or in teams of two or more as co-ed or single gender teams. Prizes will be awarded to the fastest teams in all categories.All participants are invited to celebrate in a Hawaiian luau following the race (starting at 10:00AM). By registering and meeting the fundraising goal $200.00, each participant will receive a t-shirt, one plate of food at the luau, and drinks (beer garden for those over 21). Prizes will be awarded for highest fundraising, the best costumes and for the fastest teams in all categories. |
