About Brookhaven Wildlife Center
Brookhaven Wildlife Center is a non-profit organization that supports the animals living at the Town of Brookhaven's Holtsville Ecology Site. The organization is a separate entity from the Town, and raises the funds necessary for the costs of feed and medical care, for the animals at the preserve.
Our mission is to provide the animals with the food, safety and veterinary care they need to survive successfully in captivity.
To provide the animals with the necessary enrichment they need to be happy.
Together with the Town of Brookhaven Highway Department, to educate the community about the legalities of owning and purchasing wild or exotic animals.
To build community support through educational programs, fundraising events and direct fundraising activities. |
