A Night of Comedy to Benefit The Dotty McMorrow Sandmann Animal Rescue Fund
Are you an animal lover that likes to laugh? Join the Dotty McMorrow Sandmann Animal Rescue Fund for a night of comedy at Governor's Comedy Club in Levittown. Tickets are $20.00 per person and all funds raised will help animals in need.
The "Dotty Fund" is a non-profit 501C-3 organization that provides financial assistance for pet-owners who are having difficulty paying for necessary, often life-saving, medical treatment for their beloved four-legged friends.
The Dotty Fund was set up to provide financial assistance to families in need who may not be in a position to pay for necessary medical treatment for their pets. The Dotty Fund has been in existence since 2001, but has just recently attained 501c3 status in 2009. We operate solely on private donations and small fund raising ventures. To have met Dotty is to have loved Dotty. She truly left her mark on the heart of every human and animal she came in contact with. She was bright, funny, personable, dedicated, and a force to be reckoned with. She dedicated her life to fighting for animal rights and helping animals, especially those in the Huntington Town Shelter where she was the primary dog temperment assessor until she succumbed to cancer. Dotty bequeathed a small amount of money to cover expenses for the shelter dogs and we have vowed to keep the fund alive in honor of Dotty's spirit. |
