The Walk-Along for Lupus is Long Island`s first and longest running lupus walk that not only supports research but also the individual with lupus as well.
You can sign up onlin at www.lupusliqueens.org and register for free. Once you do, you can make your own donation webpage and then send it out to all your online friends through facebook, LinkedIn and more, to help you raise money.
The walk day includes live music, breakfast, lunch, give-a-ways, and so much more. $50.00 donation or more earns a T-Shirt, and $500.00 or more will earn you a Visa Gift Card!
Our mission is to provide support and education to better the quality of life for people with lupus and their families, to promote awareness and understanding of lupus to others and to support research that will improve the diagnosis and treatment of lupus and ultimately discover its cause and cure. |
