Auntie M's Helping Hands, Inc. is a not for profit organization on Long Island working within the GLBT Community. Each year Auntie M's Helping Hands a 501(c)(3) Not-For-Profit Charity, is dedicated to helping others. Through our ongoing fundraising events, sponsorships and generous donations, both corporate and personal, we have seen many lives changed for the better.
It is our understanding, and our experience, that many other programs and organizations, funded privately, locally and/or federally, in order to help those within the community, are not fully helping all of those in need partly because approximately 50 cents to 83 cents of every dollar they receive goes towards administrative costs leaving a bare minimum for those in need, and here is where together we can help. Our board is totally volunteer which allows us to put 100% of every dollar donated into the hands of those in need, and that's a great feeling.
Your generous donation, along with the donations of others, makes it possible for us to help those in need. Many people have donated to our cause and they have our utmost gratitude and heart felt thanks. |
