The purpose of the fund raiser is to preserve, protect and maintain the beauty and operation of the red brick Remsenburg Community Church donated by Dr. Charles Remsen in 1894, and the adjoining Chapel, Manse and Cemetery. These are all historic, landmark properties that are a vital part of Remsenburg’s heritage, community life and landscape. We wish to preserve these properties so that they may continue to contribute to the well-being of those who visit and use them, and shed their simple and graceful beauty upon the community. |
