The prestigious Meadow Brook Club is the venue for the 4th Annual Golf Outing benefiting the Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center of Nassau County. Funds raised from this event have helped to support the Center's mission to teach the history of the Holocaust and its lessons through education and community outreach. We teach about the dangers of anti-semitism, racism, bullying and all other manifestations of intolerance. We promote resistance to prejudice and advocate respect for every human being.
Additionally, this event has helped to fund HMTC's educational programs that have reached nearly 180,000 students, teachers, employers and law enforcement personnel since 2007, including 130,000 students. Our programs are distinguished by live testimonies from local Survivors and Liberators and enriched through multi-media displays, photos, historical artifacts, and archival footage that inspire a community of Upstanders for tomorrow. |
