Description: |
5K Walk/Run through scenic Island Park, rain or shine. Check-in 8:00AM-9:15AM; at 9:30AM run. All pre-entered runners will receive t-shirts and goody bag. Water and restrooms available at check in. Multiple aid stations available on the course. Computer scoring and results sent out after the race. Post Race Party with food, drink, entertainment, prizes and raffles. Awards: First overall male and female and 1st thru 3rd male and female in selected age groups.
Jimi Gubelli was taken from us suddenly on December 19th, 2008. He was a true gentleman in every sense of the word. He showed compassion and charity in everything he did. Jimi was a part of many volunteer organizations and served each one of them wholeheartedly. The Jimi Gubelli Foundation has been created to honor and preserve his legacy of selflessness and charity, and all donations will provide scholarships for future young adults who exemplify that legacy. |
