The Walk
Day Two of the LI2Day Walk
On Sunday, walkers will wake early for a hearty breakfast before embarking on their journey back to Smith Point County Park. Along the 15-mile route, all of the comforts of the previous day will be available, including lunch at the Smith Point Marina, located quarter of mile north of Smith Point County Park. Walkers who reach this point early can relax with entertainment, massages, and podiatrist services as they anticipate the arrival of all of the walkers.
Celebration of Life's Victories - Final Procession
Breast cancer survivors, who are not walking in the event, are invited to join walkers on Sunday for lunch at Smith Point Marina. Together, walkers and survivors will cross Smith Point Bridge at 1:00PM to commence Closing Ceremonies, where friends and family will meet for an emotional ending to a very special weekend. |
