Description: |
Relay for Life is a fun-filled event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise funds for research and programs of your American Cancer Society. During the event, teams of people gather at Longwood High School football field and take turns walking or running laps. Each team tries to keep at least one team member walking at all times. In the center of the field teams pitch tents, decorate their campsites, bring sleeping bags, food and games so they can keep going through the night. there is also plenty of music and entertainment to keep spirits up and feet moving as we Relay For Life together. This is an American Cancer Society signature event.
Survivor Reception Brunch at 11:00AM. Opening Ceremonies Begin at 12:00PM. Luminary Ceremony at 9:00PM.Event continues until 12:00AM. |
