Description: |
The Human Resources of the Hamptons Food Pantry is open every Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10:00AM-2:00PM in the basement of the Sacred Hearts school building. Human Resources operates the largest food distribution program on the eastern end of Long Island. The pantry also provides toiletries, diapers, and other daily necessities. Most of the food and supplies are purchased, but Human Resources also receives supplies from Long Island Cares, community food drives and private donations.
The mission of Human Resources of the Hamptons is to help those in need, without discrimination, including those who face poverty, hunger, illness or homelessness. HRH seeks to raise community awareness of the disenfranchised among us and to provide help in a dignified manner that lends a "hand up" not a "hand out". |
