Local Author Sandi Bloomberg will read from and sign her children's picture books, Veronica and the Magic Fountain and Jake an the Magic Soccer Ball. Sandi Bloomberg, along with reading two of her books will be engaging the youngters [ages 4-9, boys and girls] in Creative Movement, bringing the stories to life with music and props. Join us for a fun-filled program of stories and creative activities.
Veronica and the Magic Fountain: A new little girl named Veronica moves to the little town of Homeville and makes a wish at the town's fountain. After making her wish, the fountain lights up and sprays the colors of the rainbow. All the other children who frequent the fountain want to know the reason why it sprays the colors of the rainbow for the new little girl's wishes and not for theirs. Only Veronica holds the key to the Magic Fountain.
Jake and the Magic Soccer Ball: Jake just can't seem to score a goal for his soccer team no matter how hard he tries. When he finds his dad's old soccer ball in the garage, his luck begins to change. Using the old ball in a game, Jake magically becomes the best player on the team. Sometimes one's confidence just needs a little boost.
