About
Worship
As the people of God we gather together as a community of faith to hear God's word, participate in His sacraments, join together in prayer, and grow together in faith.
Education
Faith in God is a life long journey. As Christians we strive to continually grow spiritually and educationally in our faith.
Mission
The love of Jesus is for all people. We strive to be a mission station for the gospel in our own local area. Yet we realize that working together with others locally, nationally, and world-wide grants us a greater reach for the sake of the Gospel. Therefore we engage in mission activities and support mission activities.
Community
Resurrection is a Congregation Connected. Connected to God by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Connected to each other by the blood of Christ. Connected to our community by the love of Christ. Connected to the world by the commission of Christ.
Share the saving message of Jesus Christ
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." (Matthew 28:17)
Care for those within and beyond our community
"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all will know that you are my Disciples, if you love one another." (John 13: 34-35)
Prepare hearts and minds to grow in faith
"All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteous- ness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." (2 Timothy 3: 16-17)
Dare to boldly live each day to the glory of Jesus
"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us." (Hebrews 12: 1) |
