2nd Annual Long Island Maritime Museum Invitational Regatta at Long Island Maritime Museum in West Sayville, Long Island, New York.
Interested Sailors
This two-day event is sanctioned by the Great South Bay Yacht Racing Association (GSBYRA) http://www.gsbyra.org and is open to members of US Sailing or a member of a club affiliated with US Sailing or similarly affiliated with ISAF. Racing will take place 11:00AM-3:00PM on both days. Registrants and sailing families are encouraged to stay for a cook-out dinner on the grounds on Saturday afternoon 4:00PM-6:00PM. Interested Visitors
This event is part of downtown Sayville's weekend "Summerfest". Visitors are welcome to stop by in the mornings to watch the racers rig their boats before racing, enjoy the grounds during the races, including an extensive display of classic and antique boats in the Small Craft Building and outside on the lawn or stay for the post-race barbeque on Saturday afternoon.

Rules
The races will be governed by the rules as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing.
Classes
Multi-hull, One-Design Mono-hull, Portsmouth Rated Mono-hull, Optimist and PHRF class boats welcomed. Courses for all classes will be in the same area utilizing shared marks. Depending upon registrations individual classes may be provided with separate starts.
Registration
Registration forms are available on line at www.limaritime.org, www.gsbyra.org and at the Information Desk in the Long Island Maritime Museum, from 0900 – 1600 on Saturday and 1200 – 1600 on Sunday. Completed forms are to be delivered to the information desk. All registration forms must be signed by the boat's representative.
Entry Fee
In keeping with the traditions of Great South Bay invitational regattas there is no entry fee for this regatta. However, the museum welcomes new members and gratefully accepts donations in support of our programs.

Sailing instructions will be available at the information desk during registration hours. |
