Gone are the days when you had to rely on the Food Network to experience the delectable food and unique entertainment of a barbecue championship. Now, there is a kosher alternative: a fun-filled day of kosher barbecue specialties and festivities right here on Long Island.

This event is modeled after and sanctioned by the ASBEE World Kosher BBQ Championship in Memphis, Tennessee and has quickly become one of the year's most anticipated events within the Long Island Jewish community.

- Kiddie Corral opens and remains open until 3:30 p.m., featuring inflatable bounce houses, slides, an obstacle course, air brush tattoos and a Velcro climbing wall
- Registration opens: Basketball Skills Competitions (Youth, 8-14, Adult, and Seniors)
- Foul Shooting Contest and Three-Point Shooting Contest will begin once participants register
- Registration opens: Hot Dog Eating Contest and Kosher Pickle Eating Contest

- Team Name and Booth Decoration Judging
- Live entertainment begins
