Suffolk County SPCA Hurricane Sandy Drive January 2 - February 28. In New York City and on Long Island, the ASPCA has rescued more than 300 animals and treated or provided supplies to about 13,000, due to Hurricane Sandy. The Hampton Bays Public Library would like to continue to provide supplies to pets that are being placed in mobile units due to this devastation. We encourage all to donate items including food, bowls, leashes, collars, beds, blankets, towels and more. Please drop of all items to the Library's Teen Department. Teens that drop off items will be entered into a drawing for the $50.00 gift card of their choice. The winner will be announced March 1, 2013. |
