Barkfest 2012 Long Island's Largest Pet Costume Contest and Parade at the Holiday Inn Express in Stony Brook, Long Island, New York.
See some of the best-dressed animals on the planet strut their stuff for the Halloween season for a chance to win special prizes. Music and judging will be provided by JVC Broadcasting radio stations "Party 105" (105.3 FM), "La Fiesta" (98.5 FM), "My Country" (96.1 FM) and classic rock station WRCN (103.9 FM).
Last year, over 400 people came out for this festive event. Admission is free, with the option of making a donation to Save-A-Pet. There will be many vendors surrounding the field. All animals are welcome, but please make sure that all dogs are placed on a leash and all cats are brought in by a carrier. All animals must be current with their vaccinations. |
