On Sunday, September 23, 2012, Kent Animal Shelter will hold this major annual fundraiser at Martha Clara Vineyards. Runners and walkers will enjoy the vineyard's 200 scenic acres during peak harvest season on the North Fork, while doing good for homeless animals in need. Stay after the race for an auction, a raffle, a K-9 frisbee demonstration, and vendors. Food and wine will be available for sale. People are encouraged to bring along dogs on leashes. Registration is at 11AM, and participants can start anytime between 11:00AM and 1:00PM. Please note that this is not a timed 5K race. |
