Over 700 puppies, kittens, dogs and cats available for adoption. More than 2,000 animal shelters and rescue groups around the world will join the Animal League for this premiere global pet adoption event, sponsored by Purina One®, to help save the lives of homeless pets. Come and meet celebrities.
Fun for the family under the big tent: Meet and take photos with Scooby-Doo, performances by the purina incredible dog team, puppy training tips, meet our foster care animals, pet toy raffles, activities, games, face painting, kids' craft corner, plants for sale in the Mutt-I-Grees® Marketplace, build a pet, balloon sculptures, Kitty Cat Cafe® with food and beverages, cotton candy and smoothies, veterinary, grooming and training experts and much more.
If you plan on adopting a pet during the Pet Adoptathon kick-off weekend, come to the Port Washington, NY shelter before the event to get pre-approved for adoption. Pre-approvals will receive a $10 discount on any adoption during the May 5-6 weekend event. Get $10 off your adoption fee
